The perfect gift for Mom is the gift of memories. There are quite a few ways to put together memories as a present for her. In fact, with the popularity of digital photography, photos can be mixed and matched, enlarged and shrunk even if you don't have a lot of knowledge or experience.

Here are some ideas for preparing a gift of memories:

Photo Collage. Put together a collage of photographs, not only in different sizes, but at different angles. Choose photos from different years; show a child's pictures from babyhood to adulthood, or various years of grade school.

Tell a story with photos. As a variation to a photo collage, put together a group of pictures that tell a story. For instance, choose one picture that represents each year for several years, such as a child's school pictures for grades one through five, or longer.
